I am the President and Founder of Anthony’s Light. I also have the pleasure of being Tony’s mom. I hold a degree from FIU in Business (Marketing and Management). From 11/2004 – 8/2005 (in a period of nine months), my world collapsed. I mourn the loss of my son and the young lady that accompanied him. My mother, who passed away 11 days later on Thanksgiving Day, and my dad who passed eight months after that. You can say I have acquired a PhD in grief. Amidst the grief, I always felt that I carried an angel on my shoulder. My son’s love inspired me to open this foundation in order to keep his memory alive. Tony made a positive difference in the lives of everyone he came in contact with. We want to make him proud by continuing in the path that he laid for us and to ensure that his legacy of helping others live on through the organization’s work. You can reach me via email at Vilma.Perez@anthonyslight.org, send me a message via our Face Book Fan Page, or call me at (305) 505-2860.

More info on the #InvisibleKiller
Carbon monoxide, also known as CO, is called the "Invisible Killer" because it's a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. More than 150 people in the Unites States die every year from accidental non-fire related CO poisoning associated with consumer products.
Check out CPSC's CO Information Center for valuable details and resources for keeping your family safe from the risk of poisoning.
